Bed Bomb 01:46
There's a bomb inside my bedroom, and it's gonna blow up soon, What would you do? What would you do? There's a bomb inside my bedroom, and I don't know what to do, What would you do, if war broke out now? There's a bomb inside my bedroom, and it's gonna blow up soon, What should I do? What would you do? There's a bomb inside my bedroom, and it's gonna blow up soon, What would you do? What would you do?

Dinosaurs 03:22
When the bombs hit, The lightning struck, and the ash blocked out the sun, The Devil rode out the gates of Hell with a turban and a gun, Ashes, bodies, cinder smoke, a flower, and a girl, Satan took out his matchbook and set fire to the world. When the bombs hit, The clocks all stopped, and the husbands held their wives, The kids tore down all the mansions, And the bees destroyed their hives, History is the news today, and the future's in the past, The present conditions are bleak, and tomorrow's coming fast. It's always war, and the winner's never clear, It's always war, and the loser's never here. (x2) I'm not a preacher, but I read the gospel. (x4) "Luce, you've got me thinking, and I've something to say," And the Devil said, "It doesn't really matter what you tell me at this point, but you can tell me anyway," So I told him, "It's not like us humans will all just go away," But the Devil said, "The dinosaurs were here for 60 million years, and then they weren't one day."

What Now? 04:11
The shelter's sealed and locked, And the food's all canned and boxed, And the stillness settles in, And our life down here begins There's a pounding at the door, But we can't take in anymore There's a hum that sounds all night, And a flicker of the lights. And I don't know what to do, I miss my friends, and you, I miss you more than ever, I'll miss you for the rest of forever, No one knows what's going on, And half of my family's gone, I would cry myself to sleep, But I haven't slept in weeks. I can't help but wonder, Are those bombs, or is it just thunder? I stayed up all night again, In a fit of confusion, I asked myself why and how, And I asked myself, "What Now?" This war I'm fighting's not gonna end. (x2)

No Shelter 03:22
This rusty old cage is killing me, That smell, the ever-present chill, The rats and the roaches, the rampant disease, Last week, Old Man Jenkins fell ill, Our rations of food and water are little, And now the purifier's broke, Been here a few years, and we're still not settled, And mostly everyone's lost hope. I miss my old home, and I miss my old friends, I wonder what it's like outside, A nuclear winter, old abandoned buildings, Broken down cars and skeletons, Gangs and machine guns and looting and stealing, The absence of a government, Compared to this shelter, that doesn't sound too bad, And no one has to pay taxes. You said this is shelter, but what am I safe from, When I've got a weak mind, and a weak immune system? Is there a reason that no one can leave, Even though we're dying of disease? Even though the water that we drink, Even though the food we eat here stinks? Even though the lights are barely on? Even though we've never seen the sun? Even though we're running out of food and people who can reproduce? Even though the rats and bugs are thanking us for feeding them our dead? Even though we're dying down here? Oh, this is no shelter, no shelter.

Gather 'round, shelter-folk, Lend me your ears, I think it's time we talk about getting out of here, While our children starve, And the water grows scant, I think we should take action before we all can't, Think of all of the great things, That mankind has given us, And all of the people who could have just given up, Who persevered, And who fought to survive, And who built us a death trap and locked us inside. We'll brandish ourselves as the new United States, We'll light a torch with the sun, and we'll shine it through outer space. Stars in their eyes, They're so bright they can't see, Which led to our demise, and provoked World War 3, But now all of the soil outside can be worked, The fallout has cleared, Now let's see a rebirth, When I'm stuck in an empty room, With nothing else to do, I feel there's so much time and so little to do, But here in this crowded vault, It is the opposite, So little time and so much we gotta do with it. We'll brandish ourselves as the new United States, We'll light a torch with the sun, and we'll shine it through outer space. So call upon your brothers, And sisters and mothers, We'll venture into sunlight for the first time in summers, Lonely teenagers, In suburban bedrooms, Imagined the wars and the carnage that it drew. We'll brandish ourselves as the new United States, We'll light a torch with the sun, and we'll shine it through outer space.

Warts 02:23
I thought the room was expanding, But my eyes were just shrinking, And everything I held in my hands fell out. I can't see the TV, The picture is blurry, And everything I see is black and white. My teeth are cracking, But my head is spinning, My glasses broke and bloodied up my eyes. The carpet is growing, But my head, it is spinning, No matter what, I won't move from this spot. No one wants to shake hands with me cause I got warts on my fingers, And I got that baby fat to boot, If only I'd been given someone to talk to. Why is it I always have to call out your bluff, When you tell me life's a pair of jeans that shouldn't be cuffed? And my eyes are playing tricks on me, but oddly enough, They were right when they saw through your outer layer of fluff, All the movies I remember from m-my childhood, Were just carbon copies of copies copped by Hollywood, Now I'm trying to figure out why people find us familiar, And I'm thinking it's cause our handwriting's always been similar. No one wants to shake hands with me cause I got warts on my fingers, And I got that baby fat to boot, If only I'd been given someone to talk to.

There's a landmine sitting on my front porch, There's a tripwire set up by the door, There are bear traps active on the front lawn, There's a pressure plate ready in the foyer. There are guard dogs waiting in the basement, There are shotguns hiding in the walls, There's a puddle dripping the bathroom, Where there's a toaster plugged into the wall. So I dare somebody now to enter, This house at the top of the hill, The last time someone gave it a shot, They made it just a step when they were killed. So before you dismiss me as a killer, I'm not all that bad, if you will, The maggots thanked Hitler for the fresh food, And so, the man at the top of the hill. So what do we do? Jesus will save me and you. What should we do? Jesus will save me and you. Okay, So the last time people set up camp here, They went lost and they were never found, And here I've got a book of matches, I'm gonna burn your whole village to the ground. All the children crying for their mommies, All the mommies crying for their man, And the men are praying now for Jesus, But Jesus seems to have up and ran. So, I tell you, nobody can save you, Not that precious God of yours, Because he was absent on that dark day, When the bombs struck, the death of the lord. Some advice to avoid an altercation, Between you people and Satan himself, Would be to not even think about on intruding, On the man at the top of the hill. What should we do? Jesus will save me and you. (x2) I can feel it coming, Apocalypse: Part 2 (x2) I'm not afraid of a break-in, Quite the opposite, actually, Cause all of these traps that I set up, Are there so I can't ever leave. (x2)

I was born here in Central New Jersey, In a hospital in Middlesex County, Mom wrote for the paper, I'm the son of a banker, We sought refuge in the winter of 2015, The year that Manhattan blew. Found shelter in Somerset County, Our neighbors moved west to Kentucky, Six feet of metal shielded us from the missiles, Our kitty cat wasn't so lucky. When I came home, you were no more. (x4) We looked for old Jersey City, Found nothing but ruins and packs of stray dogs, So we set out south for Union County, And we made a camp along Route 22, In the town of Mountainside. We made ourselves a new city, And my daddy croaked from dysentery, Mom and I mourned, and we hoist up the body, And burnt it at sea on the Staten Island ferry. The neighbors made deals with the Devil, They hired some bandits to pillage our town, They killed both my sister and mother, All because I told them things I shouldn't have. When my turn came, it was too late. (x4) So I returned my key to the city, And I sold the deed to my home, I was told some big secrets that I never meant to keep, It was a beautiful day for the Lord. (x3)

Little Boy 02:36
You won't know what to do, You won't know how to do it, You won't know what to do until he's right in front of you. (x2) You best watch what you do with that little boy inside of you, You best not stick it to that little boy inside of you, And daddy's run away from that little boy inside of you, You best watch what you do with that little boy inside of you. You don't know what to do, And I know you're new to this, But you better not abuse that little guy confronting you. You best watch what you do with that little boy inside of you, You best not stick it to that little boy inside of you, And daddy's run away from that little boy inside of you, You're gonna make the news with that little boy inside of you, I will not let you lose that little boy inside of you, I won't let you abuse that little boy inside of you, And if there's trouble with that little boy inside of you, I hope the path you choose is that little light that's guiding you.

Baptism 03:43
Birth new life, and God bless his soul, Make it quick, the water's cold, He thought he had butterflies in his stomach, By the time he could have figured out what it was, He will have died. No, they weren't butterflies, It was really just the Devil, How can such an evil being stoop to even lower levels? Did he sacrifice his pride? In his glory, we shall revel, Knowing that his influence lies just below the water level. Baptism in a community pool, You made such a difference, it's true, Maybe I don't understand at all, He just needed you to take the fall. Could anyone see this coming? Was there really no tomorrow? You were the one underwater, but it's us who drowned with sorrow. At the bottom of the ocean, Pulling you down was Cthulu, Jumping off the diving board, the Devil cannonballed onto you, No, they weren't butterflies, It was really just the Devil, How can such an evil being stoop to even lower levels? Did he sacrifice his pride? In his glory, we shall revel, Knowing that his influence lies just below the water level. Baptism in a community pool, You made such a difference, it's true, Maybe I don't understand at all, He just needed you to take the fall. Baptism in a community pool, Not one person could have had a clue, God couldn't have seen it coming, too, You'd be glad this whole town misses you.

Pray 04:12
Walking through, into a dark-lit room, Where the big man stood beside me, I said, "You, God, you must help me through, These bad times that affect us," He said, "I, I cannot help you due, To these limitations I set, I do choose not to intrude, On the lives of humans. I asked, "How could God make such a choice? If you see all girls and boys, And you have the power to, Help them, then why wouldn't you?" I told him that I didn't think we should die, And we just stepped a bad patch in the graveyard. (x2) Sometimes, I kneel at my bedside, And I hope to feel what you feel, And Sometimes, I crack open the Bi- -ble and flip through the pages, And I sigh because I know that I, Could never just have faith, Although, I try, but it is so futile, It doesn't make a difference. So when people say to pray, I ignore them and walk away, Because, Whenever I try, it feels forced and contrived, So I might as well just stop trying. (x2) When I work in mysterious ways, I get scolded like it is just not okay, And when I let somebody down, they never say, They still believe in me cause they just have faith It's a double-standard. Do a keg stand, For Jesus, Those kids would have wanted it, They really would have wanted it. It's a double standard. They really would have wanted it.

In an earthquake, Find a table, And crawl under, And wait and hold on tight, If you're outside, Stay away from power lines. And if you're drowning, Don't go splashing, Take a deep breath, And float on your back, And kick the nostrils, If a shark attacks. In tornadoes, hay bales are known, To fly through trees, Due to the high winds, So if this happens, Find a cellar to go in. And if a bomb hits, Don't look at the, Flash that follows, And hide out underground, Build a shelter, With non-perishable foods and snacks. If they're zombies, Don't lose your brains, Stay in small groups, And bring a baseball bat, And if infected, Join in on the attack. So if you're thirsty, Have some water, And if you're hungry, Have yourself a snack, And if you're tired, Take yourself a nap. And if you're lonely...
